Amanda Borup is a Policy Analyst with the Recreational Marijuana Program of the Oregon Liquor Control Commission. Borup is responsible for helping stakeholders understand and implement the agency’s administrative rules and advising on recreational marijuana policy issues. She has served in a variety of executive branch and agency positions within Oregon and Illinois state government. Prior to joining the OLCC Borup was responsible for developing state policy for the Illinois medical marijuana program. Borup began her professional career in Southwest Oregon working for the Oregon State University/Curry County Extension Service. Borup has a B.A. in Human Development from Oregon State University.
