He created and manages the Marijuana Index, a stock index that tracks the top cannabis stocks in the U.S. and Canada. Featured in over 100 publications, including the Washington Post, Reuters, CNBC, and Forbes, the Marijuana Index is one of the leading resources for analyzing the cannabis public securities markets. Dan has also provided investment banking and capital raising services to more than 50 cannabis companies over the last three years. Previously, he worked at a boutique investment bank where he led $1 billion in healthcare M&A transactions. Dan graduated with honors from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan and is a CFA charter holder.
