Matt Walstatter is the founder and owner of Pure Green, which includes Pure Green Gardens and the Pure Green Retail Store. He has grown cannabis for more than 20 years and has been a patient under the OMMP since 2006.

Matt has a broad and diverse knowledge of all aspects of the cannabis industry. He has a Law Degree from Lewis and Clark Law School and a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism from the University of Oregon.

In addition to his work with Pure Green, Matt has established himself as a thought leader in the cannabis industry. He writes for several publications, including a regular column for Cannabis Business Executive and a regularly featured guest column for Marijuana Business Daily.

Matt speaks regularly at local, regional and national events. He is also active in politics, particularly around issues related to the cannabis industry. He is a founder of the Oregon Cannabis Association, Oregon’s premiere cannabis industry trade association, and Co-Chair of the OCA PAC.
